Once upon a time, at morning a hare was going to the market when he saw a tortoise is also walking. The hare and tortoise informed their friends to see the race. After that, the hare and the tortoise stayed on the starting line, and the race began.
The hare ran fast and in a few minutes, the Hare became close to the finish line. The hare felt like a winner and said to himself, “The tortoise is too far behind from me. I can see the winning line. I have enough time for a nap.” The hare decided to keep rest for some time. Soon the was asleep under a mango tree next to the path.
The tortoise walked steadily, on and on. The tortoise dint stop for a while. Soon, he crossed the sleeping hare easily. The hare slept for an hour. After one hour, the hare finally woke up, he looked at the finishing line. The hare couldn’t believe his own eyes! How can it’s possible?
The tortoise was going to cross the finishing line. The hare ran as fast as he could, but it was too late to win the race. The tortoise crossed the finish line and won the competition! The tortoise was furious! Finally, this time the tortoise looked behind and smiled at the hare. The tortoise said, “Slow but steady wins the race"
